Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all training services, courses, workshops, consultancy, and use of the website (collectively, the "Services") provided by Haemcon Ltd ("we," "our," or "us"). By enrolling yourself or your employees in our Services, you ("Client," "Company," or "Participant") agree to these terms.

Elibility for training

Participants must have sufficient understanding of the English language to fully engage with the training.

Participants must be physically capable of conducting first aid training, including but not limited to, getting down on the floor to conduct CPR. Reasonable exceptions can be made for certain limitations, if you require assistance please contact us at the earliest opportunity to discuss suitability for training.

Corporate clients confirm they have authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of their company.

 

Booking & Payment

Payment is required at time of booking unless agreed otherwise.

Haemcon Ltd reserves the right to refuse access if payment is not received on time.

For customers booking blended learning, payment must be received before online logins are issued.

For overdue payments we reserve the right to charge interest and recovery fees in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

We reserve the right to withhold certificates and any course documentation until full payment has been received.

 

Cancellations & Transfers

All cancellation requests must be made via email.

Cancellations within 14 days of booking or 28 days prior to course date are eligible for a full refund.

Any booking made within 14 days of course date is not eligible for a refund.

Any requests to transfer to a new course date must be made within 14 days of original course date. Only one transfer per booking allowed.

 

Cancellation or Reschedule by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to insufficient enrolment, instructor absence or force majeure. In this instance, customers may either opt to accept the change, receive a full refund or pick an entirely new course date.

 

Attendance & Conduct

Please contact us at the earliest opportunity if you are going to be unavoidably late. Be aware that participants arriving more than 30 mins late may be refused entry without refund.

Unacceptable behaviour will result in removal from training without refund.

 

Blended Learning

If conducting blended learning, payment must be received before you are issued with online logins.

All online learning must be completed prior to attendance in-person. Failure to comply will result in refused entry without refund.

Health and Safety

Participants must follow health and safety guidelines at training venues.

If training involves physical activities, participants confirm they are medically fit to participate.

Corporate clients must ensure a safe and appropriate training environment if training is to be delivered on their premises. The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring the facilities are appropriate. Where an on-site facility does not meet the requirements, the training will not be able to commence until a suitable facility is provided, if this is not achievable a new date will need to be agreed, and full costs will be charged for the new booking.

 

Limitation of Liability

Any services provided by us are designed to provide education and guidance but do not guarantee specific results or outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haemcon Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific Service in question.

 

Amendments

Haemcon Ltd may update these Terms. The most current version will be posted on our website. Continued use of our Services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
